Situation Confirmed
Nothing here fits exactly, but something is no longer working the way it used to
“When the situation keeps changing AND what used to work no longer continues working reliably THEN what is required has changed.”
What this means
The situation still looks manageable.
There is no obvious crisis yet.
But more and more of daily life now depends on you constantly adjusting, stepping in, following up, remembering, monitoring, or compensating to keep things from falling apart.
You keep adapting.
Covering gaps.
Reworking routines.
Watching more closely.
Taking on more responsibility.
And because you are still managing to keep things going, it becomes easy to believe the situation is still stable.
But often, the stability now depends on how much you are personally carrying to prevent problems from happening.
That is why many caregivers wait longer than they should before recognizing how much has actually changed.
How this situation is worked through
Situations like this are worked through regularly inside Fellowship Advising.
These situations often become difficult because caregivers slowly get used to carrying more and more to keep things functioning day after day.
The work often becomes:
- recognizing what now depends on your constant involvement
- understanding how much ongoing compensation is now required
- seeing where stability is already becoming harder to maintain
- making decisions before the situation reaches obvious crisis
How Fellowship Advising works
Each week, multiple real caregiving situations are reviewed live.
You watch situations get worked through step-by-step as the next decisions become clearer.
You do not need your exact situation selected before the session becomes useful.
Many caregivers recognize what needs attention in their own caregiving while watching similar eating and daily-function situations being worked through.
Why this matters
Many caregiving crises are not sudden.
They develop over time while caregivers continue holding more and more together behind the scenes.
And by the time the situation clearly looks unsustainable from the outside, the pressure, exhaustion, and instability have often been building for much longer already.
This is the next step to begin working through your situation.
